If you need to develop a business name or if you would like to look into freelancing your business skills and need to find a business name that fits your skills. I suggest this to kick-start your thought process into finding your perfect business name.
Start writing down brainstorming ideas, simple words, and short phrases.
Naming your design business is crucial for establishing “your brand identity” because the graphic design world is very competitive.
Your business name should reflect your creativity and expertise in a unique value you can offer to prospective clients.
A memorable name that is easy to pronounce is essential.
One of my many learning experiences, an example, is coming up with a
name for my embroidery business. I named it Stitch “N” Embroidery Designs; although very easy to read and pronounce, it is wild to me when clients email me; many do not know how to spell embroidery. I have owned this business for so long that I would want to keep the name the same; however, if I had realized the little things when coming up with my unique business name, I would have shortened the name to something straightforward to remember and spell.
So, if I leave some advice when brainstorming words, phrases, or concepts that work with your design style, Make it simple and memorable to impact your design business identity. If you have a tricky name to remember, do not name it your name, etc.
