Today, I was challenged- not really, I was enjoying it- to find a font that works with the font family I had chosen for a specific project I am working on. I wanted to find fonts that complement the one I had decided to use.
Finding a complementary font, some “rules” that I like to use are to;
It is okay to combine a serif with a sans serif but avoid similar classifications.
Contrast font weights and sizes, but do not mix different moods. These are just a few things to remember while choosing.
I was happy to generate a font pairing site, which helped me with some new ideas and gave me some choices to view.
I never realized that there are so many sites to help with pairing ideas.
