I just finished my tri-fold brochure for my ten-piece campaign. I am very pleased with the final result. The Wings of Valor Lodge is in Parker, South Dakota, and I had the privilege of being invited out there during a pheasant hunt for veterans, where I could take photographs for my campaign.
I am very impressed with everything about the Lodge. I met the Chief Executive Officer, co-owners, and many amazing volunteers, and of course, veterans who were participating in the hunt even a few very impressive trained bird dogs.
The lodge catered a meal after the hunt. While eating the meal, a few speakers spoke, and a fundraiser was held with many very nice auction items. If you could not make it, you could also go online for live auction items. These fundraisers make it possible for any veteran who would like to participate and stay at the lodge at NO COST. The lodge provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, clean rooms, all ammo, and even will provide a gun for the hunts. They always make sure that you go home with packaged pheasants after the hunts. Pick you up from the airport if needed.
This is amazing for the ones who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
I was impressed with the organization, everything just flowed, and the lodge was very clean and well taken care of. I put in an application to help volunteer and will be thrilled to help when called to do so.
