You can apply the auto-animate between artboards. Auto-animate does a micro-interaction between artboards or component states you set up.

The rule you need to follow is to create your art board; when complete with that, duplicate it by holding Option and dragging it to the open spot next to the first art board.

This way, the auto-animate can animate between two artboards or two states. It looks for the same name in the layers panel between the two artboards or two states.

Once you have duplicated it, make all the changes you want to the second art board, double-click the art board, and drag the wire to 2nd art board or specific area you want to animate on the 2nd board. Go to actions and select which type you would like.

You can also do any auto-animate from board two back to board one.

Example: Type of trigger, say you choose Tap, you are telling it to animate when someone taps, then you want to select which type. Auto-Animation, destination > Animate to 2nd tile, it asks different ways for Easing >Ease out then Duration > for this example, I chose 4 seconds. After you select which options you want, press play, and you can make sure you set it up how you intended to correctly.
