While working on my self-promotional video, I continued to have issues with my computer crashing. It could be more enjoyable to arrange and work with my software without my computer crashing every two minutes, so of course, I first Googled the problem.
Google stated that frequent after-effect crashes could be caused by a program being overdue for a software update. No, that was the first thing I checked. I was running the latest and ensuring all my windows were closed with nothing else running in the background.
I could not accomplish anything with the blue screen of death; the system could not be started, the screen froze with no response, the mouse and keyboard could not input, and the software operation was abnormally interrupted. Then, back to square one, starting up the computer again.
I let the computer cool (every time), I made sure I had a good connection, etcโฆ
Then, I decided to Delete and reload all the videos into AE. After reloading all the videos, I was able to avoid locking up as much. When I noticed that my mouse was not usable and the computer was about to crash again, I walked away for a minute to get a glass of water or something to distract me from touching the computer.
After my last crash and after reloading each and every video, for some reason, a miracle happened. I was able to finish my editing and render my file.
I didn’t ask for another lesson in patience. (laughing) but I got one.
